Wiltshire Horn Ewe--3 Year Old Purebred & Registered Rare Breed Sheep in Silver Springs, Nevada For Sale
Type: Animals, For Sale - Private.
Purebred, registered Wiltshire Horn ewe. DOB 4/xxxx. She is originally from Saddlehorn Ranch in Texas, which has the largest concentration of purebred Wiltshire Horns in the U.S.. She has successfully lambed in xxxx and xxxx. She is sound and healthy, but not tame. Must sell because she is related to my new ram. She is registered with the Livestock Conservancy because Wiltshire Horn sheep are rare in the U.S.. They are an ancient meat breed from U.K., with white fleece that naturally sheds in spring/summer. No need for shearing. Both males/females have horns, with the males attaining a majestic curl as they mature. They are one of the foundation breeds used to create the Katahdin breed of sheep. These sheep are very popular meat sheep in Australia, hardy, and no shearing required. My sheep are descended from established American and imported Australian lines. I am located in Northern Nevada. I am a USDA registered animal transporter, and can arrange shipping to your location for extra fee.
